Alchymedes video slot takes the player into a mad scientist's lab from a time when science was seen as half magic and half devil worship. There is a very UN-organic feeling to the game; like everything was made rather than grown. The multiplier liquid looks like blood and and starting wild symbol looks like radio active waste. You wouldn't be able to find any of the colors in the game in the natural world either. They are all very deep and appear to be glowing. The game is filled with beakers and other strange contraptions giving the player the overall impression of being in Frankenstein's lab.

There are more than 15,000 different spreading wild patterns in the game. The pattern is drawn at the beginning of each level and remains the same until the level is complete.

Every wild symbol that lands on the reels spreads according to the pattern. The landing wild position is marked with a red dot on the pattern and the spreading wilds are marked in blue. Parts of the pattern landing outside of the game area do not award spreading wild symbols.

There are no Free Spin modes or special mini games in this slot but the upgradable levels and opportunity to play mad alchemist after completing a level keeps the game interesting.
