It’s time to go hunting again! The Troll Hunters have returned once again to defend their village against the fearsome troll, in a rivalry that has stretched back for aeons!
Join the raven-haired Ylva, stoutly warrior Borghild and the fearsome Astrid as these fearsome women are once again tasked with defending their village against harm in this charming new grid slot.
Players must match 3 or more symbols either horizontally or vertically along the grid to pick up a standard base game win. Ylva, Borghild and Astrid make up the HP symbols for this game, and any mix of three or more of the HP symbols will create a winning line. Their weapons, plus a helmet and a Viking horn, make up the LP symbols and 3 or more matching LP symbols form a winning line.
Player will also be awarded increasing multipliers on their wins during each game round, with the Drop Multiplier. For every set of wins a player gets during a round, the multiplier will increase by one. So, the first set of wins has a x1 multiplier; the second set will have a x2 multiplier and so on. The Drop Multiplier will reset every game round. The game has three different Wilds to help create more winning lines during play. The first of these is the standard Wild represented by the symbol of Odin. Any time three symbols create a winning line, they will be removed from the grid, and this Wild will appear where the middle symbol once was.
The second Wilds are the Multiplier Wilds which are represented by the x2 and x3 symbol. During gameplay one of the troll hunters will be visible at the right-hand side of the screen, on the left-hand side is a charging meter which can be filled by creating winning lines using HP symbols. Wins of 3, 4 or 5 symbols will fill 1, 2 or 3 sections of the meter respectively. The meter is reset after each game round.
Once the meter is full, then whichever troll hunter is at the side of the screen will place her Wilds randomly over some of the remaining symbols on the grid; Astrid will give you the standard Wild, Borghild will give you x2 Multiplier Wilds and Ylva will give you x3 Multiplier Wilds.
The third Wild is the Troll Wild, which is unleashed during the Win Spin feature as part of the game’s bonus feature, here’s how it works:
During each game round, one of the top three rows is chosen to be the Bonus row. If all symbols are cleared from that row, this will trigger the bonus feature. Players will be asked to pick one of the troll hunters before the feature begins, each player provides a balance between the number of free spins granted and the worth of the Multiplier they are associated with.
During the Free Spins, the meter will switch from giving Multiplier Wilds to giving free Win Spins (which are independent of the number of Free Spins a player chooses). Once a Win Spin is won it will be activated at the end of the player’s current free spin, and each one guarantees a win.
During a Win Spin, a 2x2 Troll Wild will be placed on a random location on the grid. The Troll Wild will be worth the same multiplier as the one granted to the player’s chosen character at the beginning of Free Spins.
Players can trigger another Win Spin during their current Win Spin by filling the charge meter once again, and another Troll Wild will be placed on the grid, once the new spin starts. If a Win Spin is re-triggered, the Drop Multiplier from the previous Win Spin will not reset when the new spin starts but will carry on into the new Win Spin round.
