Asgard

Asgard takes place in the mythical world of the same name – a place of great wealth and power, where gleaming spires rise from the earth, and giant waterfalls tumble into the void between realms. Asgard itself is one of nine worlds that make up the old Norse cosmos, and serves as the seat of gods like Thor, Loki, Freyja, and Odin.

Like many ancient gods, these four like to interfere in human affairs – and their actions can be unpredictable! In Asgard’s base game, any single spin can be taken over by any of the four gods, whose power will influence the outcome of that spin only. Thor may call down lightning and turn all royal symbols into wilds, or the mysterious Loki might select one symbol at random to be replaced by a mystery stacked symbol that will only be revealed at the end of the spin. Alternatively, Odin, ruler of Valhalla, could use his regal powers to stack random reels with wilds, or Freyja could invoke a rain of wild symbols to land in randomly-chosen positions.

But players can also secure the blessings of the gods for multiple spins. Three or more winged Valkyrie helmets (the game’s scatter symbol) will trigger Asgards free spins feature, where players spin to choose between the four possible powers at random, with the winning god guaranteed to influence five full free spins.

And whether they occur in the base games of the free spins mode, each god’s power has its own unique animation: Thor throws his indestructible hammer, Mjolnir, to shatter royals and replace them with wilds; Loki hides his tricks with green smoke; Odin rules the reels with thunder; and Freyja brings beauty and natural light to the game when her raining wilds feature triggers.
